Altered Book in 3 Hours - NO you say, well lets just say that we alter the best part of a book in 3 hours. You will alter a full size hardback book cover, spine and a special niche. If you are intrigued by altered books, but thought you could never do it, this is for you. You are starting small but with BIG results. You will alter with paint, ink, paper, charms, fibers, wire, metals, collage elements and your imagination. Samples
Wearable Stamped Art - You will create pins and pennants using your imagination and bamboo tiles, puzzle pieces and domino’s. Rubber stamps, alcohol inks, embossing, wire, watch parts, beads, shrink plastic, hemp and your creativeness will form these wearable works of art. What great gifts these will make. Friends love handcrafted items made from the heart. You can also make these as unusual, inexpensive, exceptionally creative convention swaps. You will make a minimum of 5, more if time permits.
Mailable Altered Greeting Card Book - You will alter the cover, spine and back of a thin hardcover preprinted book/card. You will embellish with flat objects so finished artwork is suitable for mailing. Choose your book topic, Romance, Birthday,Thank You, Get Well, Thinking of You. Samples
