I grew up having three mothers,(mother Betty, sisters Sharon and Teresa) it wasn’t until I turned 18 and our mother passed that I truly had sisters.

My sisters have always been an artful inspiration to me. I have been exposed to art in a variety of mediums most of my life. My sisters collectively can sculpt, weld, quilt, portrait paint, murals, sew heirloom children’s clothing to name a few of their talents. I owe my passion and need to create to them.

Our mother wasn’t exactly the artsy type, but could that woman make magic with her hands, she could sew, upholster her own furniture, refinish furniture, her craftiness came from necessity. But she instilled in us that we could think outside the box and accomplish any task we set out to do.

I hope to share my creativeness with you, and maybe in time my sisters will share their talents with you. My daughter Alex is showing a promise of talent as well. My art room is filled with her works.
